Configure a questionnaire
This guide requires you to be elevated.
NIS has the option to create questionnaires that can be used for a course. To create such a questionnaire, move your mouse to the left side of the screen to show the navigation bar.
On this page we can see a list of all courses. To create a questionnaire for a certain course, click on "Manage questionnaires".
To enable a questionnaire for a certain course, click on "Enabled".
Now that we have enabled a questionnaire for this course, we can click on "Create" to add a questionnaire.
Here we can see the settings for this particular new questionnaire. To change these settings, edit the fields here. Note that the red star means that we are required to set these settings.
To add a new question, click on "Add question".
We can now add our first question by filling in the "Question" field.
Below, we can fill in the answers to a question. We can also set an amount of points per answer, this is can be used for answers that are partly correct for example.
Extra answer possibilities can be added using "Add answer". There is also the possibility to add a weighted probability to a question: this means that this particular question has a certain probability of coming up when the total amount of questions is higher than the set exam question count. We can also give feedback for this question.
To add this new questionnaire, click on "Save", and now we have added a new questionnaire!
To return to the course overview, scroll up and click on "Manage questionnaires".
We can now see our newly-created questionnaire. We have options to view the configuration, create a new version of this particular questionnaire, edit the questionnaire and delete the questionnaire. We will now click on "Publish" to publish this questionnaire.
As we can see now, the options to edit the questionnaire have disappeared. To be able to edit the questionnaire, we would first have to unpublish it by clicking on the correct button.
